“The legend of lenny”

A multi-year project documenting my best friend

This is the first 4x5 frame of film I ever shot. I learned to load the carriers, shoot, process and scan it all within two hours. Lenny was there for it.

This is Lenny with his 4x5 Speed Graphic camera. One day while visiting him, I fixed the shutter mechanism, viewfinder and cleaned it up.

Lenny got a call at NAB 2026. He learned at that moment a friend has passed away. This is the exact moment. It was sad.
